Vivo Y36 4G With Snapdragon 680, 44W Fast Charging Launched In India

Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in India. It is the Vivo Y36 4G. The device had debuted in Indonesia last month. The Indian variant is slightly different compared to its Indonesian counterpart. The latest offering arrives as the successor to the Vivo Y35. Read on to know what it offers out of the box. 

Vivo Y36 4G specifications and features

The Vivo Y36 4G has a 6.44-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. It features an FHD+ display resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 650 nits peak brightness. Design-wise, the back panel has a squarish camera module and the power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. 


On the imaging front, the Vivo Y36 4G dual rear camera setup comprises a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP front-facing snapper for selfies. 

Under the hood, the Vivo Y36 4G is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It packs 8GB RAM along with 8GB virtual RAM technology. There is 128GB onboard storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD card slot. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 44W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 13 OS out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the Vivo Y36 4G include Dual 4G VoLTE, USB-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The Vivo Y36 4G carries a price tag of Rs 16,999. It is offered in Vibrant Gold and Meteor Black colors. The smartphone can be purchased from the brand’s website, Flipkart, and retail stores across the country.
