Vivo V40 Lite Receives Bluetooth Certification, Hinting at Imminent Launch

It seems like Vivo is planning to accelerate the launch of the V40 series. Only a few months ago, the company released the V30 lineup in different parts of the globe. While, last month, the company also launched the V40 SE device in Europe. Now, there is another phone in the works dubbed the Vivo V40 Lite. It has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website hinting at an imminent launch. Let’s delve into the details of the device below.


On the Bluetooth SIG website, a new Vivo phone with model number V2341 has appeared. The listing  also reveals the name of this phone which is V40 Lite. However, it does not reveal much, we only get to know the support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

There are other listings of the phone as well; earlier it also appeared in the GCF listing. This one hinted support for 5G connectivity, however, the chipset is not disclosed at the moment. These two listings are a strong hint that the launch of Vivo V40 Lite is around the corner. Meanwhile, let’s explore the specifications of the predecessor of the phone.

As with the V-series device, the target is the mid-range market. The V30 Lite comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of FHD+. It gets a 120Hz refresh rate for a buttery smooth experience. Moreover, the phone has a 64MP primary camera with an OIS that is paired with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensors. On the front, there is a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Talking about the performance, the phone gets its power from Snapdragon 695 chipset with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone has a 4800mAh battery that can be fast charged at 44W. Finally, the phone comes with Vivo’s FunTouchOS 13 based on Android 13.
