This means that users can share a specific Story with a select group of people, such as friends or coworkers.
While everyone can view Telegram Stories, only Premium subscribers can post them. The cost of a Premium subscription is $4.99 per month. But subscribers who sign up via the web can get a discount. This may be a bit of a disappointment for some users who were hoping to use the feature for free. But it’s worth noting that many of the other features offered with a Premium subscription are useful as well. Such as the ability to send larger files and the option to use multiple accounts on the same device.
Telegram CEO Pavel Durov initially had reservations about adding Stories to the app, but the feature was highly requested by users. Now, he says he can’t imagine Telegram without it. The interface for Telegram Stories is similar to what you find in other apps that already offer Stories, with a list of available Stories at the top of the list of chats.
