Now, the South Korean brand is seeding the OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 update to the smartphone. The OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 update is rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G in Russia. It has a firmware version number A336BXXU7DWL1/ A336BOXM7DWL1/ A336BXXU7DWL4. A wider rollout of the update is expected across more regions in the coming days.
Users are recommended to download the OneUI 6.0 update over WiFi or a strong cellular network. They can also check the update manually by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install if available.
As mentioned earlier, the OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 version brings a host of changes. These include visual changes like a redesigned quick toggle area and media controller widget, a new system-wide font, lock screen customization etc. There is also an auto-blocker preventing the installation of unknown apps. The update also brings improvements to the camera and several stock apps.
