Samsung Galaxy A55 visits Malaysian certification ahead of launch

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy A55 in the market soon. But prior to any official announcement, the smartphone was recently spotted in a leak. Now, a fresh sighting on a Malaysian certification hints that its launch could be right around the corner.

Samsung Galaxy A55 visits SIRIM

The South Korean tech giant Galaxy A55 surfaced on the SIRIM certification platform. It was seen carrying the SM-A556E/DS model number. Unfortunately, the online database did not reveal any finer details regarding its specifications. In the past, the Samsung Galaxy A55 model was spotted on various other platforms like TENAA, NBTC, MIIT, FCC, TKDN, and more.

A recent leak even revealed the design of the upcoming Gaaxy A55 via live images and shared the key specs as well. The device is expected to sport a 6.5-inch display that may offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Meanwhile, the rear may feature a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is rumored to feature the Exynos 1480 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The company is expected to release this model in multiple color options, namely Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy Blue. An official launch date is still at large, but the Galaxy A55 will likely launch sometime next month. It is worth noting that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt and stick around for more updates.
