Samsung Dream Team SoC: The Exynos 2500 Is Being Tested With Four Super Cores!

Samsung is currently preparing the Exynos 2400 for its debut. Although that chipset does not have an official release date, news regarding the Exynos 2500 has come out. The next-gen chipset is seemingly in the testing phase and is tipped to be Samsung’s Dream Team SoC.

In addition to that, the report sheds light on the current configuration of the Exynos 2500. That is, Samsung is currently testing it with four high-performance Cortex X cores. Such a config would be troublesome for the competitors. To be exact, if Samsung does things right, the Dream Team SoC might even set new standards.

Early Report About the Exynos 2500 Has Come Out

According to @OreXda, the Exynos 2500 has four Cortex X5 cores at the current stage. Each of the cores has different clock speeds, where only one of the cores is running between 3.20 GHz and 3.30 GHz. The others are running within the 2.30 GHz to 2.50 GHz range.

@OreXda states that the Exynos 2500 has Cortex A520 and Cortex A730 cores along with the four super cores. These are all said to be unreleased designs from ARM. That’s pretty much all there is to it from the report. But from the current config information, there’s no denying that Samsung is going all-in to make the Exynos lineup be in the leaderboards.

No matter what, the Dream Team SoC is likely 2 years away from now. That means we will not officially see it in action before the Galaxy S25 series. But before that, it would definitely be interesting to see the Exnos 2400 go head-to-head against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
