Fitbit Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications appear on Pixel Watch, but not officially supported

According to reports, plans to release a series of artificial intelligence products at its annual I/O developer conference in 2023. Rumored products include a wallpaper maker for the company’s Pixel line of devices. However, the Pixel Watch currently lacks some key health features that can be found on even entry-level fitness tracker devices. In particular, irregular heart rhythm notifications, alerting users to potential problems with heart rhythms while resting or sleeping, are not officially supported Pixel watch. Many other Fitbit devices offer this feature, including:


  • Sense and Sense 2
  • Versa 4, Versa 3, Versa 2, Versa Lite
  • Charge 3, 4, 5
  • Luxe Inspire 3
  • Inspire 2

Interestingly, some Pixel Watch users have reported seeing an “Irregular Rhythm Notifications” page in the Fitbit app’s Discover tab, allowing them to view notifications and see when they last analyzed data. However, it’s unclear whether this feature was enabled by Fitbit on purpose or whether a mistake. In addition to irregular heart rhythm notifications, the Pixel Watch lacks other health tracking features, such as SpO2 tracking high and low heart rate notifications and skin temperature changes.
