Oppo Watch X was first introduced in the global market. Now, the smartwatch has been launched in China. It has some unique features but also a decent design language. While the global and Chinese versions share similarities, there are a few exceptions. We will explore the Watch X in-depth below.
Oppo Watch X Design
When it comes to smartwatches, I prefer the ones that resemble normal watches. For example, if you see someone wearing the Watch X from a little farther away, it would be hard to tell if it is a smartwatch or a traditional watch. This is achieved through a circular design housed in a polished stainless steel case. Hence, the Oppo Watch X looks simple yet attractive.
Talking about controls, the Watch X can be controlled via 2 buttons: a rotating dial and a button present on the right side. Moving to durability, the watch has MIL-STD 810H certification and IP68 water resistance to a depth of 50 meters.
Features
The biggest feature of the Watch X is that it gets up to 100 hours of battery life. Oppo has implemented two operating systems in the Watch X. It has WearOS 4 and RTOS (runs on 4GB of eMMC storage). The WearOS 4 manages Google features, while the RTOS helps keep the watch turned on and manage background tasks and other essential tasks. Both OS runs on different processors. The WearOS gets the power from the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, while the RTOS utilizes BES2700 chip. With this formula, Oppo was able to crack up to 100 hours of battery life. Cherry on the top is the fact that it can be charged in just 60 minutes.

Coming to the front, the Watch greets you with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. Fancy features for the display include Sapphire Crystal Glass protection, 1000-nit peak brightness, and an Always-on Display.
Talking about the internals, the Watch X has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The device is equipped with an 8-channel sensor for monitoring heart rate and a 16-channel sensor for measuring blood oxygen saturation. These sensors provide continuous tracking of heart rate, oxygen levels, and stress. Additionally, it features an extensive sleep analysis tool, which includes an assessment of the risk of sleep snoring. For fitness, the Watch X has over 100 sports modes.
Pricing
The Oppo Watch X comes in three colors in China. Each color has a different price. “Thousands of Sails Blue,” color comes at 2499 Yuan (~$349). “Desert Silver Moon,” comes at 2399 Yuan (~$331). And finally, the “Starry Night Flying” color at 2299 yuan (~$318).
