Motorola Edge 50 Pro Display And Camera Details Confirmed Ahead Of Launch

Motorola is gearing up to unveil the Edge 50 Pro smartphone soon in India. The Lenovo-owned brand has already confirmed the chipset that will power the device. Now, the upcoming offering’s display and camera details have been revealed through the Flipkart microsite. 

Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s camera and display confirmed

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will come with a curved pOLED display having a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. As per the microsite, the device will have a 6.7-inch screen bearing a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will offer 2,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut. There is an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display is confirmed to be Pantone Validated with realistic colours and accurate skin tones. 


The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is confirmed to be the first Pantone Validated camera in the world. This means that the output of the colours and skin tone in the captured images will be validated by Pantone. The elevating camera island on the back panel houses three sensors headlined by a 50MP main lens. The device will also pack AI features like adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, tilt mode, and more. There will also be Generative AI theming for creating own unique wallpaper powered by AI. 

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be offered in three colours – Violet and Black with a faux leather texture and a gradient hue that seems to look like a shade of Grey and Cream. The upcoming smartphone is already confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
