HMD Teases New HMD-branded Smartphones on the Official Website

HMD has just made a big announcement. In case you missed it, the Finish company shared that it will soon be launching HMD-branded smartphones. Why is this a big news? Well, it’s the same company that manufactures the Nokia smartphones after acquiring the phone brand back in 2016.

To date, the Finish company has only sold phones under the Nokia brand. But as confirmed by the CEO back in September of last year, HMD, or Human Mobile Devices, will start to offer HMD-branded phones alongside Nokia. Alongside the latest announcement (video attached below), the company has also updated its website to give a glimpse of the upcoming smartphone under its own name.

HMD Teases the First HMD-branded Smartphone

We don’t really have much information on the upcoming HMD-branded smartphone. But the latest update on the company’s website did give away some design aspects of the phone. One is pretty much confirmed from the new image. It’s that the new device will have bright colors, pretty much like the old Nokia Lumia days.

Gizchina News of the week

As you can see from the pictures attached, the upcoming HMD phone will come in pink, green, and blue colors. Also, as the image attached below shows, there could be at least two smartphone releases lined up by the company. One will come with a dual-camera setup, while the other will feature a triple-camera config on the back.

HMD 2nd phone

According to the last announcement, we will also see HMD releasing tablets and wireless earbuds. But the company hasn’t uploaded any teaser images of them as of now. However, it’s likely that we don’t need to wait long to see the brand unroll the covers on its new devices. Wondering why? MWC 2024 is around the corner. It’s the biggest influential exhibition for mobile technology.

HMD Phone Green

We see a lot of brands launch products at this event, and HMD has announced two phones on MWC 2023. So, the new HMD-branded smartphones could very well be unveiled at this year’s event.
