You can learn more about it from our in-depth coverage found in this link. Nonetheless, among the features is Circle to Search, which Google has developed. It’s now rolling out to Google Pixel 8 devices.

The feature will be making its way to the Pixel 8 flagships as a part of the latest Pixel Feature Drop. But the good news is that the feature is rolling out for Google Pixel 8 series smartphones as a server-side update. That means you don’t need to download anything to enjoy the feature. With this, it’s just the latest Google flagships and Samsung Galaxy S24 series that have this feature.

How Can You Use Circle to Search on Google Pixel 8 Devices

As the name suggests, Circle to Search basically lets you search by circling things on the screen. What you circle is what will be searched. As for how you can use the feature on the Google Pixel 8 devices, you have two options. If you have three-button navigation enabled, you need to long-press the home screen button.

On that note, besides circling things on the screen, you can tap on something, highlight it, or scribble it to initiate the search. It will essentially make searching more intuitive and natural on the Pixel 8 smartphones. And it goes without saying that it would have been great to see the feature come to the other Android smartphones.
