Apple unveils watchOS 10: New watch faces, mental health tools, smart stack, and more

Apple has recently unveiled watchOS 10, an exciting update for Apple Watch users at WWDC 2023. Packed with new features and improved functionality, watchOS 10 aims to enhance the user experience and promote better mental and physical well-being.

Whether it’s weather updates or boarding passes, Smart Stack ensures that users have the most pertinent information readily available.

Developer Updates: Developers can leverage the new design language to update their apps, resulting in improved functionality and design. Popular apps like Streaks, the NBA app, and Waterllama have already embraced these updates, delivering enhanced user experiences.

Control Center: Accessible with a simple press of the side button, the Control Center provides quick access to important functions, even while using other apps. By double-clicking the Digital Crown, users can easily switch between recently used apps for seamless multitasking.

New Watch Faces: watchOS 10 introduces two new watch faces, Palette and Snoopy, adding artistic and playful visuals to the Apple Watch. Additional enhancements include improved contact sharing, offline maps, FaceTime capabilities, medication reminders, and custom workout plans. The update will be available for free this fall for Apple Watch Series 4 or later and iPhone Xs or later with iOS 17.
