After a successful first iteration, Oppo revamped its lineup of foldable with two phones under the Oppo Find N2 series. One of which, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is set to reach global markets pretty soon. The N2 Flip will finally bring some competition for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series with compelling specifications. If the N2 Flip gets some success across global markets, then we may see Oppo expanding its availability. That said, the Oppo Find N3 and Find N3 Flip may go global. It seems that the brand is, in fact, preparing the new phones as the first rumors are appearing.
Oppo Find N3 – display specs tipped
The Oppo Find N3 series will probably come only by December 2023. However, we can’t discard a change in the plans. Now that Oppo is consolidating its presence in the foldable market, then we would not be surprised to see more releases. For comparison, Vivo introduced the Vivo X Fold in April last year, and the Vivo X Fold S a few months later with a refresh in the specs. In the same way, Oppo could pretty much release the Oppo Find N3 in the coming months.
The new info comes straight from the reliable Digital Chat Station. As per the tipster, Oppo is working on a new foldable phone with model number PHN110. This product could come as Oppo Find N3 5G in the second half of 2023.
Gizchina News of the week
As per the leakster, the Oppo Find N3 will pack an OLED LTPO display with 2,260 x 2,440 pixels of resolution. Moreover, it will bring a 120 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the resolution means an increase over the Find N2 5G which has a display resolution of 1,792 x 1,920 pixels. The conclusion is that the Oppo Find N3 packs a larger display to offer an advantage over the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or its successor. The Oppo Find N2 has a 7.1-inch inner display, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 4 packs a larger 7.6-inch panel. Samsung’s phone has a resolution of 2,176 x 1,812 pixels.
With a bigger display, we may also see a bigger chassis. As a result, there will be more room for the battery. That would be a great improvement, and also an advantage over the Galaxy Z Fold series. The Oppo Find N2 already has a larger 4,520 mAh battery. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 packs a smaller 4,400 mAh unit. We expect more details to appear soon, but again, the timing for these leaks may indicate an earlier launch for the Oppo Find N3 series.
