New Leak Reveals Pricing for Samsung Galaxy S23 series: This time it goes up to $1,499

The Galaxy S23 series is one of the most highly-anticipated smartphone releases of the year. The latest leak from Twitter leaker RGCloudS sheds some light on the pricing of the upcoming devices, and it looks like they will be more affordable than previously thought.

According to the leak, the entry-level Galaxy S23 will start at $799 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant will be priced at $849, which is $50 cheaper than the starting price of the Galaxy S22. However, it’s worth noting that the entry-level Galaxy S23 will not support Wi-Fi 7, which will be exclusive to the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. All three models will support Wi-Fi 6 and UWB (ultra-wideband) technology.


The Galaxy S23+ will be priced at $999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and $1,049 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant. There’s no mention of the 512GB storage variant in this leak, despite previous rumors of its existence.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the most expensive of the bunch, starting at $1,249 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM/512GB storage variant will be priced at $1,349, and the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM/1TB storage variant will be priced at $1,499. RGClouds notes that shipments of the 1TB storage variant may be delayed by up to six weeks, and colorways exclusive to the store may also be delayed.

Additionally, the price can be brought down even further through Samsung’s exchange program, though the value offered for smartphones, even high-end ones, varies greatly by region.
