iQOO Neo9 is the company's upcoming gaming smartphone series. As the successor to the Neo8, the lineup is expected to bring some major upgrades. And the company has just confirmed that the devices will indeed be proper successors.
Through the brand's official Weibo account, iQOO has shared the launch date of the Neo9 smartphones. In addition, it has given information on some of the key specs of the devices.
iQOO Neo9 Release Date and Key Specs
According to the official post, the iQOO Neo9 will be debuting on December 7. The series will bring two devices, the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro. Among them, the standard mode will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Even though it's a last-gen SoC, it still has what it takes to deliver a smooth gaming performance.
This chipset choice will keep the price lower than the latest flagships. So, iQOO didn't make a bad decision by not opting for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, for those who want to experience flagship performance, there's the iQOO Neo9 Pro, which will boast the Dimensity 9300 chipset.
