Vivo-backed smartphone brand iQOO is all set to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones in the form of the iQOO 10 series tomorrow, i.e., on 19th July. Ahead of the launch, key details and features of the devices have already surfaced online.
In the latest development, the company has shared a teaser poster that reveals that the iQOO 10 series smartphones will pack the company’s own self-developed V1+ chip for better photography results.
The V1+ is a second-generation image chip developed by iQOO’s parent company Vivo. It supports 3D real-time stereoscopic night scene noise reduction, MEMC frame insertion, and AI super-division in the hardware.
It is also said that the data throughput rate can be maintained at about 8GB/s while combining with SRAM improves energy efficiency by about 300 percent and reduces power consumption by around 72 percent.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is made using a 4nm process by TSMC and offers a maximum frequency of 3.2GHz.
The iQOO 10 Pro is expected to have a 6.78-inch display with a Quad HD+ E5 LTPO AMOLED panel offering a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It will also have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security.
As for the memory, the device is expected to come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery, which will have support for 200W fast charging.
