Honor will present a large number of new products at IFA 2022

The Honor brand announced its intention to take part in the annual international exhibition of consumer electronics IFA. Honor will reportedly organize an offline demonstration of the latest products, as well as hold virtual presentations.

IFA is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany and one of the largest trade shows in the world. The history of the event, dedicated to the novelties of the consumer electronics market, goes back to 1924.

Last year, the IFA exhibition was canceled due to the pandemic, but this year it will be held in Berlin in a traditional format. The event starts on September 2 and will last until the 6th of the same month.

A whole lineup of new smartphones from Honor will be present at IFA on September 2

Honor has released a teaser revealing that IFA 2022 will showcase the latest smartphones, tablets, laptops and true wireless headphones (TWS). It is possible that smart home products will also be present. Honor executives will deliver a keynote speech on September 2, the official opening day of the exhibition.

Observers believe that, among other things, Honor will introduce smartphones with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. In addition, portable computers based on the Intel Alder Lake platform may debut.

Honor has recently said that its India-based team will leave the country as New Delhi continues to tighten its grip on Chinese companies. George Zhao, CEO of the company, said the brand will remain on the market, but all staff will leave. Honor products will be in sale by local partners.

George Zhao said the brand is taking a “very safe approach” to its presence in the market. He confirms that Honor has done a great job of putting together a local team, but for “obvious reasons” it will be break up.

The announcement came after Indian authorities launched a series of investigations into Chinese companies including Xiaomi, and Oppo. Honor was not on the list, but the company made such a decision.
