Honor Tech's CEO, Madhav Sheth, declared on X (formerly Twitter) that Jio will be the first carrier in India to enable eSIM connectivity for the Honor 90 5g. Previously, the smartphone did not have support for this feature. The brand has not yet said if it wants to cooperate with additional Indian network providers soon. The officials posted two pictures that demonstrate an operational Honor 90 smartphone with an eSIM connection from Jio. The ability to utilise the eSIM in conjunction with a real SIM card is demonstrated in the second image. Although the phone appears to be using a 4G network exclusively based on the screenshots, we will update you as we learn if 5G functionality is available. To put things in perspective, the firm has not yet included Wi-Fi calling on the latest flagship's Jio mobile network.
