Talk of unforseen occurrences and ChatGPT will just show up. There may be other AI chat bots in existence already. However, ChatGPT just took the tech world by storm. No one expected it to happen so swiftly. But it is already alive and conquering. Its popularity is spreading like wild fire and OpenAI’s servers are always crowded.
To state the fact, ChatGPT came to solve a lot of problems of the every day internet user. Hence, everyone is getting to love it by the day. OpenAI is really excited about the growth of its new project but Google isn’t.
Google’s dominance when it comes to search engines has been unmatched for many years. Due to this, the tech company has relaxed comfortable at the very top knowing that it is almost impossible for any other search engine to threaten its dominance.
Well, we all thought so right? That it was going to be very difficult for any search engine to ever challenge Google. But guess what, ChatGPT showed up from no where. And within a few months, it has given Google a lot of discomforts.
Google will Challenge ChatGPT
Google knew very well they had to act very fast before things get scary for them. To combat this, the California based company will hold a Search and AI Event Next week, the 8th of February.

Google said it is reimagining how people search for, explore and interact with information. The company wants to make it more intuitive and natural to find information on its platform (Just like ChatGPT). “This will result in greater access to information for people everywhere, through Search, Maps and beyond,” Google said. A report from ‘The Verge’ says that Google will use the power of AI to make these things happen.
This event will be a YouTube livestream with the title “Google presents : Live from Paris”. It features an artwork which shows Google Lens visual search, translation and shopping. This event is set to take place at 2:30 p.m. CET (5:30 a.m. PT / 8:30 a.m. ET).
Actually this event is supposed to be Google’s annual ‘Search on’ event which was rumored to host in May this year. However, when the news of Microsoft integrating ChatGPT in its search engine, Bing broke out, Google had to make an early announcement as well.
Sundar Pichai Clarified how Google Intends to Combat ChatGPT
Sumdar Pichai made a very clear statement during Google’s Q4 2022 earning call. He said, “Very soon people will be able to interact directly with our newest, most powerful language models as a companion to Search in experimental and innovative ways.”
Meanwhile, we have also come across other leaks which describe how direct chat bot style of answers are coming to Google Search.
