Despite Apple’s decision to use a different design for the notch of each of its iPhone 14 models this year. An analyst claims that the new pill with Dynamic Island capability will be available in all iPhone 15 models next year.
Early this month, when the iPhone 14 models were official, the Pro models overshadowed the more widely known original devices. The notch on this year’s two most costly iPhones, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, has been replaced with a pill.
Apple’s smartphones now look different, and the software also makes use of this new innovation. The American giant had, in fact, unveiled Dynamic Island. A feature that turns the pill into a dynamic area that may grow or shrink based on the apps used.
There will be a Dynamic Island on all iPhone 15 models next year
In 2022, only the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max support the new Dynamic Island. However, that may change as soon as 2019. The Dynamic Island feature will be available on all iPhone 15 models next year, according to famous analyst Ross Young, whose predictions have all so far proven to be accurate.
Apple will always save its greatest displays for the Pro models, despite the uniformity of the design of all its iPhones. The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro should still feature an LTPS panel with a refresh rate cap of 60 Hz. Even though all of their Android rivals have been using 120 Hz displays for some time.
Since the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max of 2021. Only the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models will benefit from a 120 Hz LTPO display. Ross claims that due to supply issues, Apple will not use 120 Hz screens the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. Apple would only be able to source LTPO panels from LG and Samsung for its Pro models. Since the Chinese company BOE would be unable to do it before 2024.
