Galaxy A55 5G appears on Geekbench with Exynos 1480 and AMD GPU

The upcoming Galaxy A55 , set to redefine the mid-range 5G smartphone segment, has been making waves in the tech sphere. Earlier this month, leaked renders gave enthusiasts a glimpse of its design, but even before that, benchmark results stirred curiosity, unveiling the powerhouse within – the Exynos 1480 processor and the Xclipse 530 GPU developed in collaboration with AMD.

Initial benchmark scores may not have been awe-inspiring, but recent revelations on Geekbench 6 have painted a more promising picture. The phone, identified by the model number SM-A556B, has surfaced with a commendable single-core score of 1127 and a multi-core score of 3090. A notable improvement when compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A54. It boasted a single-core score of 1006 and a multi-core score of 2792, thanks to the Exynos 1380 SoC.
